While you are experiencing life-changing truths and worship at First Church, your children are as well!

Children’s ministry is one of our most important programs. Our vision is to establish an active faith toward God and His Word in the hearts of our children. The vital truths of God’s Word come alive through dramas, music, video, puppets, storytelling and much more.

We welcome and encourage all children to participate in any of the many programs we have available.

Sunday School

Classes are available for all ages, beginning at 10 a.m. each Sunday.

Children’s Church

During the adult worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday, children in grades 1-6 are invited to the Kids Church room for a service designed specifically for them. Bible verses and lessons are presented through the use of puppets, drama, object lessons, visual aids and storytelling. Services often include games and prizes to encourage and engage our children in their walks with Jesus. The Children join their parents the first Sunday of each month and on holiday weekends.

Boys & Girls Club

Every Wednesday night during the adult Bible study, children are given the opportunity to join with others their age for refreshments, games, and various activities that teach Godly values. Our clubs are led by volunteers, each of whom has a heart to see our children develop a healthy and positive attitude toward God and His church.

  • Skippers (Ages 2-3)
  • Scooters (Ages 4-5)
  • Voyagers (Ages 6-7)
  • Pathfinders (Ages 8-9)
  • Trailblazers (Ages 10-12)

Children’s Choir (Students | Children)

One of our favorite musical acts is none other than the First Church Children’s Choir! And, if you join us on a Sunday when they sing, you'll quickly see why. At First Church, we believe in developing and nurturing Godly talent at a young age.

Our children participate in a number of musicals and dramas throughout the year. In addition to teaching our kids about music and worship, these programs also serve as a wonderful opportunity for ministry and outreach as children invite their teachers, friends and families to attend.
