Women’s Week of Renewal
Held annually in February, our Women’s Week of Renewal is a time for our women to fellowship together and lift each other up within our church and community.
CARE Leaders Training and Appreciation
Not only do we pause each year to say “thank you” to the ladies who do so much to invest in the lives of others, we will look at new ways to more effectively minister to the felt needs of those in our church and community.
Wednesday Night Service
A special service is held on Wednesday evening, featuring a guest speaker with an inspirational message.
Our Week of Renewal always culminates on Friday evening with this wonderful evening of good cheer, specifically designed to enjoy, celebrate, and give thanks for our friends. There is great food and fellowship, charming décor, and funny skits.
One of the traditions involved in Friendship Night is “dressing up,” where attendees have the option of dressing according to the night’s chosen theme. Through the years we have enjoyed a myriad of fun themes including Hawaiian, an Evening in Paris, New York!, Wedding, Storybook, A Night in Tuscany, Gone With the Wind, All Things Southern, and many more! For the fun-loving and adventurous attendees in costume, there are costume recognitions and awards.
